M$ is currently engaged in negotiations with certain undisclosed snack food manufacturers to discuss licensiing issues related to production of the DVD 2.0/Popcornmaker dongle for the Xbox 360. The clip-on remote control update module ("CORCUM") w/flashing red light and butteriness monitor is set for a late 2006 release date possibly very near the release date of the PS3.
Apparently M$ hopes to use the v2.0 dongle to divert attention and draw sales from would-be Sony customers the theory being that you can't eat a ray of any color. Blu-rays, especially, are known to be particularly horrible on acid-reflux sufferers. M$ hopes the release will stop many sales of the competition console or in M$ code-speak, "Cork 'um!"

Thanks, lol. I agree though. It's way too long way too white, and the microsoft logo in the middle was just too much. Like getting your name tattoed on your forehead. We KNOW what we are pointing the thing at. We dont need the reminder.

I actually didn't mind their logo. besides, i think that is for turning your computer on and off somehow...maybe, lol...hopefully? =P

After the messed up 2T resistor on the 1.6 boards...conspiracy theory security measure, whatever you want to call it. The windows logo acually scans the xbox for mods and reports back to M$ your GPS location so they can punish all modders...or maybe its just a computer power switch. Either way lol. Still think the console looks like somebody dropped it and then stepped on the middle.
