Hey,

I think that we should all thank DJB and all of those who spent countless hours, better yet, weeks to months putting together AID 2. They have done so much for this community and I just think we should give tem their props.

THANK YOU !!!!!!!!

Hey guys,

Thanks for the thanks Smile

If any of you care to make a donation to me, go to my site: www.aid.xbox-hq.com

There's a little paypal donation button the at bottom of the screen that you can click on and throw me a few bucks if you wish.

As you know, I don't personally sell this program or make money from this, so the only dollars I see out of this is from donations. So, if any of you wish to make a small donation it is appreciated, coz like enigma516 said, I've spent MONTHS on this.

If you want to tally the amount of time all up (starting from when I first started developing AID 1) I've been doing this for about 8 months. Just thought I'd share that with you just incase anyone wanted to know Smile

Anyways, enjoy AID 2. Who's ya daddy? (hehe)

Hi all,
I just wanted to add my thanks to this.

About 4 days ago I stumbled across this excellent site as I was considering modding my box. I'd never even heard about softmodding Rolling Eyes

Thanks to the fantastic tutorials found here, I have just burned a downloaded g.....er I mean backup of a game that I own, and am now enjoying it on my newly softmodded X-box!

You guys rock, and as soon as some funding becomes available to me, I shall be hitting that Paypal button. Wink

Edit: Sorry guys, I just noticed the dates on this thread.
Didn't mean to bump an old thread, I was just excited.. Embarassed

Sorry guys, I just noticed the dates on this thread.

Dates in the forum work off whatever GMT you have set in your PROFILE:
http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/forums-profile-editprofile.html

If you are looking from ACTIVE TOPICS pages on the homepage or the active topics module you will only see SERVER TIME which is in the USA!

anyway, thought id let ya know. Ill hopefully get onto this soon.

I bought my son a new xbox today for his birthday and wanted to mod it so he and his brother can use both boxes on the network instead of playing split screen. I ran short on funds and had been reading a lot about softmodding on this site. I thought no way can it can compare to my chipped box. Well I used autoinstaller 2, had his box modded and done in about 30 minutes. I can't believe how well it works, on my chipped box I have always used evo-x, I went ahead and tried unleash-x on my sons and I love it. He already downloaded some game saves with it and yes mine will be changing to unleash x, along with updating all the emulators with the ones on the autoinstaller 2 disk. This is an awesome program and props go out to all involved. It made my sons birthday, its 1 a.m here and he's still up playing with all the emulators.
Thanks Very Happy

This is what I love to hear Very Happy
Make me kinda feel all warm and fuzzy inside, hehe.

Just a note to ppl that if they have a spare $5 or $10 and are on PayPal they can make a small donation to me for the work done. Donations are the only thing I really see back for the counltess months of work, and I leave it up to you to decide whether or not you think it's worth it.

Just click on the "Paypal Donation" link under the AID 2 banner in my signature. Like I said, only do it if you think it's worth it.

8 Months work... into a magnificent program. You can't complain about the results, as I'm sure even you're impressed with them.

After I've got my next webhosting stuff setup, I'll be sure to send a few bucks here and there in your general direction. Keep up the good work.

I'm very impressed on how it turned out, because basically the time between AID 1 and AID 2 I was getting good feedback and ideas, it gave me time to actually sit down and plan some of the newer features I wanted to add.

There's no rush in making a donation, just when you can. You obviously think it's worth the small donation and that means a lot to me. So, just whenever you get the chance Smile
