Hi everybody, I'm new here, and I need some help.
I've got a Xbox, and it's modded. I unfortunately didn't do it myself, I paid some dude someone I know know a couple of bucks for him to do it.
I have general computer skills, but I do not know one thing about my XBox. so if you need information you must tell me how to gather it .
Anyways, the problem is that some games simply doesn't load...
Like Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, and Jade Empire.
I can without problems navigate the menus, but when it tries to load, it hangs up and I am forced to switch the XBox off and on.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated
(PS: I've tried searching the forum, but was unable to find anything)

Is your xbox modded with a modchip or soft modded. If you dont know how to tell, you should be able to open the xbox remove the dvd and hdd tray and see if down in the left hand corner if there is a chip there. Or you can just see if there are lights from inside of 1 of ur grills or if there is and on off switch. And also are they backed up games, burnt, or retail games. _________________ Xbox v1.0

need more info about your box.
If you dont know then you need to find out by opening it.
I can tell you that I use to see alot of hanging on games when people were using the px hdd loader version 1.1 check your versions and make sure all your stuff is up to date.

also try ftping into your box and deleting all of the files in your E:|Cache directory
Don't delete the directory itself, just the files inside of it, I know that caused problems with both Forza and Brother in Arms.

I'm unsure what a soft mod is, but I'm almost certain it's a chip, because it boots with Evolution X, and I have a 120 or 160 GB HD with several partitions.
Those two games are downloaded, (can I say that here? ) and ftp'd to /F/Games. The strange thing is that some games work, and some not. Fable worked a treat, for example.
diskord, What will I be deleting then? If nothing important (like save games) I'll try that.

no its jsut cache. softmodded also lets lets you be able to bout up evolution x or unleashed. you would really have to open up the xbox to be sure. And as for the games, you should extract the image so you have a folder of the files. not the image in the folder but the files from the image and then ftp it to your xbox in the games folder. _________________ Xbox v1.0
