well guys im stuck .. I just installed a X-ecuter 2.3b lite onto my Xbox and I get the flash menu and everything .. now Im haveing problems getting a dashboard onto to so i can do the FTP thing and copy the standerd dashboard over to my cpu so if i screw it up I get restore it ... do i need to change my bios to something other than that cromwell or what ever so it can read the dashboard files also i download a couple of dashbaord files off here and it says there RAR files and I can seem to get to the ISO files which is what i think i need to put onto a CD to have the new hacked dashboard load temp. so i can access the FTP part and get to copying please please please someone tell me step by step what i need to do..

From what I understand about the Cromwell is it is pretty basic. Here is a tutorial on installing a new bios and EvoX. Just visit our VIP download section if you need some files.

Oh, and on the .rar files you can always unzip those using a program like WinRAR....I use zip genius, but it's up to you what you use.

Just installed same chip, You can't get your dashboard to run from Cromwell. You need to flash the latest xecuter bios. Just read the forementioned link from the post above. Its a pretty good tutorial.

Another place to check out would be www.teamxecuter.com . Between the tutorials here and there, you should be good to go! Be sure and check out noobie forums on both sites.
