I just installed a new HDD (20GB) in the XBOX after backing up all the files on the OEM drive. I booted up with the new HDD installed and AID in the drive and it automatically asked to format the drive. So formatted all drives (including F. Once AID booted backup and FTP in and transfer all the files from the OEM drive to the new one, then went Prepare C,E,F. Next I locked the drive so I can boot without the mod enabled (Using FlashBIOS in AID).
Now when I boot I get error 8 HDD not found. I tried putting the HDD in my PC and it asks for Unlock Password.
What can I do to fix this?
Did I render this HDD unusable now?

Are you still able to boot via the AID disk? If so reinstall the m$ dash and the hacked dash. Reboot and see if everything is working right. If it is prepare the drives and then add your backup stuff. Hope that this helps you out.

it gives me the error code everytime I boot with that HD with or without the Mod enabled. It won't boot into AID or anything. I have m8++1.6 BIOS on one bank and Cromwell on the other. Is there a way to unlock the drive using Cromwell??

what pass did you use to lock it?
Fling the stock hdd back in and run
configmagic to find out what the
xbox is currently using.
