Two Questions, basically just asking for you opinons here on a pair of unusual mods...
If you've ever played PhantomCrash for the xbox you know the button configuration is just annoying as hell when it comes to gameplay. PC is a game I absolutely love and I've been thinking about ways to make the controller easier to use.
Mod Idea 1:
For the last little while I've been brainstorming the idea of adding a pair of shoulder triggers to an exsisting controller (to replace two of the A/X/Y/B buttons, to bring the number of shoulder triggers up to 4 like a ps2 controller), doing this would probably be the easy to do, the difficult part being the cutting of the under side of the controller to accomodate the extra triggers.
Mod Idea 2:
The merging of an xbox controller (s-type) and a pair of joysticks (logitech attack 3 joysticks, cheapest ones I could pick up at my local computer store - http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/CA/EN,CRID=2221,CONTENTID=6953 ). This would undoubtably be messy, time consuming and probably impossible. I've been searching the internet for controller (xbox/attack3) specs for the last couple days to see if this has ever been done or even attempted at all. So far I've found nothing.
If these mods interest you give me a shout here and tell me what you think. I'll probably end up doing the first idea, but if anyone thinks the second has merit I'd like to hear your thoughts on it.
Thanks

You may just be wanting to put something together, and that's cool. But if you just want a controller to play with, here are a couple of options.
(1) They make a controller with the white and black buttons mounted on the shoulder, similar to PS models. http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=801983
This controller might be easier to mod...you can just swap the buttons they already have for two different ones of your choice.
(2) There's a dongle you can buy to plug in the PS controller to the Xbox.
I used to know the website, but can't find it right now. It was in a magazine a long time ago.
Like I said, if you are just wanting to build a new one, ignore this, and good luck.

I am kinda just looking to build something, but if it is impossible I'll go with your options.
I like the ps2 to xbox controller thing, I'll probably get that if I can't build this.
