I have the same problem.I am new to this whole modding thing as well.I used the spinter cell expoits using the SID 3.I was being stupid and was trying to to patch my ms dashboard 5960.I was not thinking but when I tried to that It said to make sure that I have it backed up in the E:/ms/backup.I went ahead and did it anyways.Now I am unable to play any games or dvd's at all.Can some one please help me out!!!!Thanx

i got sid 4,5 i was good with 4 but y not upgrade so i did
now when i load retail it loads to the live screan but if i am in unleash nd hit ms dashboard then it goes to it fine
how can i get it to work?

This v2 package thing that gave me evo x and unleashed x is really screwy. it ruined my drives and erased most of them. all i can do is run a couple of xbox disks. i can't even go to my old dashboard. could you tell me how to get the old dashboard back. without any mods, softmods nothing. i just want my old xbox back. one of my family members payed $180 back in 2003 to get this for me. i'd feel really bad if couldn't get it back for him. and he'd be really upset if i couldn't.

does it still run copy's?
if so get aid and reformat your drive and install msdash
if not you can resoftmod or do a hotswap to restore your drive.
