From what i can gather from the forums, live scans the bios on connection but not the c: partition and hence it is fine to leave all the hacked dashboaards on the hdd
however, does xbox live also detect what dashboard you are running at the time? if not would it be possible to simply rename the xbox dash to something else and name your hacked dash, whether it be an evox or similar, or a m$ with a few new options added to the menu ie. a shortcut to an xbe on the hdd.
if the files were named correctly the retail bios would load the dash and live would be none the wiser unles it came to update the dashboard but how often would it do that?
just wondering if this were possible, or am i just way off key here?
