Hiya,
I've got a Xenium Ice successfully installed. Was able to get the Tsop settup. I downloaded X3 3029.bin. The Xbox recongnized it. I "added new item" to load another bios. It loaded successfully. So I can choose it along with my original but when I do the xbox just shuts down. I deleted it and tried again but same thing happens. BTW original bios loads fine. Help. Sound like a software issue? _________________ xbox v1.4

yeah thats because the X3 bios only works with the X3 modchip.

If you want to use a Xecutor bios you should look at using 4983.06 or 4983.67.......The bios will depend on your hard drive size and if you want to use a G Drive partion.... _________________ Xbox v1.3

thanks guys. I got the 4983.67 launched. Let me ask you though, when I launch the hacked bios I know because the LED turns the color I chose but there are no other indications it was successful. I know I still have the original dashboard but I kind of thought there would be SOME difference between the hacked and original bios boot. (besides the led color) they are identical? _________________ xbox v1.4

Have you installed any hacked dashboards yet? Like a Evox or Avalaunch or nexgen anything like this? If you didn't then that is why you still see the M$ Dash...Here is the boot order for your 4983.xx bios............
(I) avalaunch.xbe
(II) evoxdash.xbe
(III) mxmdash.xbe
(IV) unleashx.xbe
(V) xboxdash.xbe
