hi i have a modified xbox with the enigma chip and a dvd burner too but need some instructions on what programs i need to burn backups of the xbox games i own-i have 4 children and they wreak havok on my games.any info is helpful,thanks

Hi Rookie,
Great to see you on the forums... Well you could start with the tutorials section which explains a hell of alot..
I use CDRWIN 5.0 to burn my iso's and Prassi DVD to make my Xiso's..
Start doing some reading in the tutorials section to get your head around some of the lingo..
Your enigmah-x chip will not allow a upgrade of the harddrive but that is easily fixed by visiting http://kangamail.com (australia) and buying a new modchip..
i had the enigmah to start with and it works perfectly except for the HD upgrade.. Oh, also i think a couple of the first games released by a GROUP called PROJECT X has to have a patch..
Just ask away and dont be scared. We were all dumb with the xbox once tooo..

The enigmah is a great first gen modchip..
Any modchip would be fine whatever suits u. Alot of people buy the matrix as you dont have to soldier and seems to work just fine..
I my self bought a chip from kangamail.com (our sponsor).. It has 9 wires to soldier with diagrams and also has a choice of bios.. Works fine with my 80gb HD etc..
The new executors have been reportly great too..
Just go for the one thats in your price range and is easy enough to install..
I have installed over 10 of the enigmah x mods and are still working to this day.. The bloody thing have 29 wires or so though.. It took me around 2.5hrs to do one..
When you get your chip its real easy to upgrade your harddrive.. All you have to do is runn a disk caLLED Slayers HardDrive Utility or something like that.. Thats it reboot your xbox and it works.. hehe
so can i use a enigma chip (29 wire) modified xbox to transfer images to my pc and what programs do i need to install on my pc and on my xbox hard drive.somebody please walk me through this,i do have a dvd-r burner.thanks for your help ,it's very appreciated!!

i have just setup my mates 29 wire enigmah with the EVOLUTION-X DASHBOARD..(this is the first step your look to do..)
Once you have installed the EVO-X DASH you can then use any pc to network with you xbox and ftp files accross..
Check out the tutorials section man and im sure you will find what ya looking for..
