hi Lycz2004,

When i taught myself to soldier all i did was dig out all those old motherboards i had laying around that were dead or just that old they were useless and i started practicing with old m/boards until i was confident i wouldnt stuff my xbox.. It takes a while to get the steady hand but as always practice makes perfect.. (but im still far from perfect)

Anyway, TheModGod i believe can recommend some guides.. (hopefully).. Shoot him a pm and hopefully he may have some links etc.

Here's something I posted a long time ago. It's the first xenium ice guide that Cap269 made. It has some soldering tips. It's all I ever needed to get started.

You can find tons of documents on the net though. Remember, google is your friend Smile

Let me know if you run into any specific questions. When it comes time to get your tools let me know. I can give you some advice on what works best for me. Everyone probably has different tastes, but I think I got a pretty good system for soldering pin headers and D0 wires.
