I downloaded Republic Commando and when it got to the point where you make a new profile I type in something and It tells me that I can't start a profile with that. I have never had a problem with any game before and I really want to play this game. Any help would be appreciated.

i copied it fine just yesterday and it works fine for me. When you copied it over did it say there was an error copying any files?? Maybe due to a scratch on the disk?? I dont know, this is a very weird problem.. If u had played it before you copied it and made a save file be sure to delete it.
id say when it copied over it messed up on one of the *.ini files

Yeah if you still have the disk just delete it and re copy it because mine works just fine i have no problrms with it _________________ Xbox Version 1.6

DUDE I wrote about this in a post man look back last friday or so
you did just fine with tthe burn many people had this problem so did I .
ALL YA GOTTA DO IS THIS:
go to your ms dashboard, change the language to deutch or japanese. REBOOT
put the disk in and play. when u get to the part to put in a profile make new one. this time it will work.. I PROMISE!!!!!!!!!!!!
once you got a new profile made just go back to ms dash and switch back the language you can then even burn to HDD and it will work.

Hey thanks for the replies. I will change the language and try it, hope it works. Also I would like to add that I tried it on another modded machine, one that had a newer bios and used a newer version of the auto-installer and it worked fine on his. I don't know if that is the problem or what. But again thanx.
