hi can anyone tell me what it is when the eject button on the xbox flashers green an red when it is not modded. it is a 1.0 version and dvd is suspect someone said could this be the problem or not.

Do you get any video on your TV Screen? If so, any error codes in the upper corner? If so, what error code.
Did you try sofmoddin? Did you try a TSOP flash?
Has your machine ever been open?
Can you eject your tray?
Does your machine turn on and off a few times before you get the flashing red and green light?

to answer your questions that have randomly ask me no no no yes and yes i get no screen dvd works ok drive works ok but some how i think xboxbios is the problem. How do i disable it so i can install a chip maybe or disable the xboxbios long enoght to burn a modchip bios over it at the same time something that the dvd will reconize the disk.I,im using nero for buring and imation dvd dicks .i want to burn a M8bios over the xboxbios.

To flash a mod chip, the TSOP must be working, so if you think the TSOP is damaged or corrupt then your best bet is to look into finding out how to overcome bad TSOP flashes. I think there is something out there called the three wire trick, but I avoid TSOP flashing so I really can't get you any other info.
You can try installing a chip and seeing if the chip will boot. If the chip will boot you can just flash a MS bios to it and run it like a normal Xbox...thena gain, you can flash a hacked bios too and run it as both
