Hope this helps everyone, I had probelms setting up the Evox.ini for the xbmp24. With help from forahobby it now works like a charm see the settings below. I also have Halo installed to the hard drive, did that by coping to my pc's HDD then back to the Games folder I set up in e: on the Xbox, that works great as well. Nice backup..

Note:

Retail HHD
set up file in e:
folder called Apps
FTP the xbmp24 folder to the Apps folder in e:
Follow the settings below...

Thanks forahobby...

Code:
Section "Launch menu"
   {
       Section "Games"
      {
         AutoAddItem "e:\Games"
         AutoAddItem "e:\Games\HALO\default.xbe"
         SortAll
      }
      Section "Applications"
      {
          AutoAddItem "e:\apps"
         AutoAddItem "e:\Apps\xbmp24\default.xbe"
         SortAll
      }
   }
}

If you ever experience game lock up try using Boxplorer and reruning the default. xbe, I have a different menu on evox just for my dashboards, with the same .ini

For whatever progamer reason? That line on the .INI isn't like that. If you want to add a game, write a new section if not use this one for games I will write that part below, but I believe that part of the .ini is an autoload written for different reasons. It is from xbcopy, it writes some part of some file, I know forahobby knows, its probably the .WMV into the that.

.INI -HERE

Section "Games"
{
# Item "Invaders","f:\games\invaders\default.xbe"
Line "- Auto Items -",2
SortStart
AutoAddItem "E:\games\"
AutoAddItem "F:\games\"
AutoAddItem "F:\apps\"
AutoAddItem "E:\apps\"
SortEnd
# SortAll
}

If it does not look like this that menu should not work. more or less like that file!!!

This is my own menu I created just change the names, you can even call it games, beyond the games dash.

Code:
   Section  "Launch Menu"
   {
       Section "Games"
      {
#         Item "Invaders","f:\games\invaders\default.xbe"
         Line "- Auto Items -",2
         SortStart
         AutoAddItem "E:\games\"
         AutoAddItem "F:\games\"
                        AutoAddItem "F:\apps\"
                        AutoAddItem "E:\apps\"
         SortEnd
#         SortAll
      }
      Section "Apps"
      {
#         Item "DvD PLayer w/o The Remote","c:\dvdx2\default.xbe"
                        Item "Xbox Media Player 2.4","c:\XBoxMediaPlayer\XBMP_Folder\XBoxMediaPlayer\default.xbe"
         Item "BoxPlorer","C:\boxplorer\default.xbe"
                        Item "Config Magic","C:\configmagic\default.xbe"
                                                      Item "XBCopy","F:\XBCopy0025\default.xbe"
          Item  "HDDLoader","F:\Apps\HDDLoader\HDDLoader_Folder\HDDLoader\default.xbe"
                                                      Item "DVDX2 (W/O Remote)","C:\dvdx2\default.xbe"
                            SortAll
                                                      AutoAddItem "D:\apps\"
      }

Just change apps to " my games" or something like that and put the DIR where you want it, but I dont think it will work like the other way Smile Idea]
