i believe i have a Xecuter 2 chip how do i know what bios i can use and i believe i have bios version 4982. how old is this and if i flash the bios do i have to change anything else ???

1) the two most popular bioses as of now would be:

evox m8plus

xecuter 4983

2) you can flash your chip via programer, cd (if you have cromwell on another bios bank), or evox.

3) if you arent having any problems with your xbox, software, ect i wouldnt try changing anything.

1) they are both great bioses... you can use either one ( i used 4983 on all my xecuter chips)

2) im not sure how AID works i havent had a chance to use it yet.

I've never flashed a bios via an installer before. But, I am sure the bios' that are on the AI are fine. It's just a matter of if your chip allows flashing from a DVD drive. Some need programmers, others can flash from DVD Drive.

i have a program on my xbox called xecuter2 bios config tool and when i run it says this see configpic is that my current bios ??? and if so mod god i have the same chip as you so how do u flash ur bios and the warning pic is when i tried to run xbpartition any suggestions by the way how do i make the pics smaller.
