ok ive installed my aladdin xt lite chip and swaped hdds with a 320 gb one.now im tring to flash my chip with the m8+_16. ive got the flash and ftp it to my xbox bios folder. when i go to flash chip in evox it say unknown flash and wont flash the chip.? please help.

Are you certain your xbox is a v1.6 xbox?? You shoudl only be flashing your xbox with the evoxM8_1.6 if you have a v1.6.. Just want to mak e sure..
yep its a 1.6b. but someone told me i need to edit the evox.ini file or something.the flash size is 256.

How are you flashing your chip?
Does your chip that you installed have flashbios or something on it. Evox shouldn't care if it can read or not read your bios since it really doesn't matter.
Your ini file only has the names of the bios' so they can recognize it and list it on the skin info that is posted.
If your are loading evox then your chip is flashed properly, otherwise you would not be seeing your evox.
