Hi all.. im a little stuck (and stup[ified) on how i can play my xbox on my puter...
i have a Radeon 9800 Pro All-in-Wonder with the S-video cable..and that purple thingy that has to ports to plug in an XBox... but i plug it in.. and i dont know where to go from there...
Do i need software that allows me to watch TV/Xbox?? or is there a video setting that i have missed looking for?? plz help

Hey bud,
I use the exact same video card to run my xbox through the computer. All you need to do is use the software that comes with the video card. Go into the ATI Multimedia Center and choose TV, then in the tv area, switch it to composite and you're set. It took me a little while to figure it out too, but it's worth it. you may want to update your ati drivers and software:
Ive done everything the manual has to say about connecting a TV to PC.. but it ends up the reason its being explained is to use the TV as a moniter... i dont have my TV with me because i moved.. therefore instead of buying a new one im trying to use my moniter to replace my TV for the time being...
The multimedia software.. will that enable me to switch from my video card to TV input?? i normally can do this without any help.. but with no internet access at home and no TV this wouldnt be a friggen issue!!!!!!!

Sent you a PM, I think I explained it a little more in detail. Just make sure you're not in your display settings trying to mess with anything, you don't need to do anything with those.

Well i finally got that multimedia software... works great.. i switch it to composite and my xbox screen shows up... but now theres no sound LOL!!! oh well
