Hi im wondering how i get burned games to work I modded my v1.6 xbox with a samsung drive using Ltools_v1.7.5_SC_NTSC I also put in dvdx but thats all I have done. Do i need to do anything else or is this just a bad disk? I was trying to play Crimson Skies on a DVD+R disk.

either bad media, bad burn, or bad download. a "backup" game should play just like a normal one
can you watch a movie on the xbox burned to teh same media?

I havent tried but if i go try to play the game through the dash at the top left corner of the screen it says "game" and then i go to Launch DVD and nothing happens it just stops.

i'd try burning something else (like the AutoinstallerDeluxe 1.01 ) to the same type of media and see if it works. or copy a DVD to the same media and see if they play. could be just teh xbox doesn't like the brand.

I tried it with a dvd i burned on the same type of media and it works fine. If i use dvd2xbox it lets me download the game to my hard drive but i just want to be able to play it from a disk.
