I managed to get hold of Rocky Legends and I have to say, shite. The first game was fairly entertaining, but this is a step backwards, and it is nigh on impossible to even knock down your opponent in this.
Then it lead me to watch all 5 films again. Its been a while, I think i was a teenager last time I saw them. I have to say, I think the films are terrible!! How did they ever get as big as they are? Total tripe with fight scenes that are so bad and unrealistic, it make me just laugh! Every punch finds its target, no defence, the boxer getting pummelled seems to handle it and the ref does nothing to stop it. Yep, totally convincing!
So, I have come to the conclusion, the reason Rocky legends is shite is the fact it had nothing to go on as the films were just the biggest load of bollocks ever!
Anyhow, the magazines over here are slating it too, so I feel i'm not as nuts as first thought. I just can't believe how these films ever made it. rubbish, shite and totally overrated!

Well I`ll stick up for the films
They`re totally predictable and unrealistic and I have to admit, rather embarrasingly, that I think Rocky IV is the best
Best part - the fight with Rocky and Ivan Drago. Tackiest moments - Rocky`s wife shouting he`s going to win, the stupid speech just before the song no easy way out plays.
Perhaps more embarrasing is that I probably know the film word for word
