I am planning to go wireless with my set up & am curious to how some members connect wirelessly. Specifically the hardware used. USB wireless adapter? or wireless adapter through the NIC?
Also, has anyone successfully used the Kai firmware on the linksys WAP? _________________ LED Rings $6 (doesnt include LEDs) LED ring pic

I don't have the most up to date, flashbang, trillahertz wireless system invented recently but I can say, it works ok. Bottom of sig tells the tale as to what I am using with great success.
By the way I have not successfully used the Kai firmware on the linksys WAP, but I haven't devoted much time to that yet. It did see my Xbox but that's as far as I took it. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

YEah I saw that thing today, it was like $50! I was hoping to find a USB wireless adapter, like those thumbdrive adapters, they are only $20. _________________ LED Rings $6 (doesnt include LEDs) LED ring pic

Ain't cheap dude. No doubt. Prices should drop after the G's really take off. Right now most are still B.
I'm moving to a new house at the end of the month that is fully CAT 5'd in all rooms, so I suspect I will be coming away from the wireless gig soon anyways. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

I have a wireless G Microsoft MN-700 Wireless Router and the Microsoft MN-740 Wireless Adapter (the one with the word Xbox on it) for sale on Ebay right now!!
I couldn't use the router because it wasn't compatible with my operating system (Windows XP Pro Media Center Edition 2005) But, it is compatible with XP home and XP Pro, just not the Media Center Edition OS.
Both items were just taken out of the box on Monday Night!! They are essentially brand frigging new.
