I posted a thread a while ago asking for info on softmodding,and was given advice on what software/hardware was required.i now have all the pieces required ( action replay/mech assault and ltools1.8 rc ).however before doing the mod i would like to get a good nooby proof tutorial
my xbox is a v1.6 or v1.6b does anybody know of a good tutorial that works with this model or has anyone done one before,have found a few tutorials but still not sure of certain things
any help would be appreciated

Thanks for the prompt reply i have read your tutorial,wont be doing the mod until weekend so can you clear up a few points for me please is the file ltools_dashes.zip better to use than ltools 1.8 rc if i can use the 1.8 version of ltools can i still use your tutorial ( is the process the same ).
Are the bios files required for the 1.6 model included in the ltools_dashes.zip or do they come in the save game file??
