Thanks for the installer, but I am having a problem with the file/download...something!!. I have downloaded the autoinstaller v1 and several hours later winrar'd it and mounted it in Daemon tools then dvd decrypted it to check it and it comes up with: UDF File Parsing Failed! Device [4:0:0} Generic DVD ROM 1.0 (I (SCSI).
Reason Function 'UDFFindPartition' returned 0. I did this after burning it to a disk (Ritek that I know always work) and getting the refer to manufacturer, cause the box needs service, or something, on boot up. So, I downloaded it again on 13th Dec and still have the same problem...can anybody help me...Oh, if you had not already realised, I am a bit of a newbie.. Thanking you

There' no need to mount the ISO with Daemon Tools, just burn it as is.
Also, once it's burned your PC won't be able to read it, because the Xbox uses an incompatible Filesystem.

I've tried two different Xbox's with the following:
Xbox 1:
Xenium with lastest OS
160GB WD Drive
Version 1.3 Xbox
Xbox 2:
DuoX 2
160GB Seagate Drive
Version 1.0 Xbox
For some reason, even though I've installed the Microsoft dash on each one, when I try and run it it seems to go into a continuous loop with the intial Xbox splash screen.
If I use the lastest Slayers build to install the MS dash the problem goes away.

Well, it's the exact same dashboard. I even took the liberty to get this tested on various xboxes.
This is a weird case scenario you've given me here. You did format c drive, unlock your drive b4 installing the ms dash, and then locked it again when finished right?
It's funny coz you'd think one of the biggest problems woule be the Xbox 1.6, but this passed with flying colours with the dash..
If anyone one else notices problems with the MS dash (or anything else in that matter) don't hesitate to leave feedback...

Yep, I did this.
It's no dramas as I 'll just use Slayers to install the MS dash but I can't figure out what I may be doing wrong.

It's gotta be something funny coz this AI should be flawless, like I said we tested it on various version xboxes and they were flawless.
Might be even something to do with the certain xbox, chip and/or bios, it's hard to say exactly.

Hey DJB AWESOMS JOB I cant even say how awesome this program is, great GUI, great backround, great programs, you cany get better than this . I just had a few questions though I softmod Xboxes for friends and stuff and one ofd my friends wants to uprgrade his HDD so I was thinking can I uprgrade it this way.
This is using the new LTools MeachAssault and this is what I would do:
1. Softmod there retail Xbox with the retail HDD using ITools.
2. Turn on Xbox to the dashboard I chose to install using ITools, and once completly booted swap HDD's
2. Put in the Auto Installer Deluxe v1.0 CD and once Booted competely switch HDD with the new one they want installed
(I did the double 2's on purpose I want to know if I swap the HDD's once I am booted up to the dashboard I chose to install using ITools or do I put this disc in and then swap the HDD's)
3. Then goto format new HDD on the Auto Installer Deluxe Disc
4. Once formated restart Xbox and it should be now a regular Xbox (or would I choose to install the MSDash)
5. From there I would softmod it using ITools
*If there are any other steps I need to take, and if this way will not work please tell me what I need to do. Below are a few questions???

*If I do try this, and I softmod the retail Xbox HDD and then swap HDD's in the middle when it is booted like at the EvoX dash do you think it will still boot a CD, I am almost positive the software that boots games in burned into the hardware like not to the HDD, So when it is booted to the EvoX dash (or dash I chose to install with ITools) I will insert the Auto Installer Deluxe v1.0 CD and it will format It for me.
*Are there any other steps I need to take such as, lock HDD, unlok HDD.

Cool it's out now hopefully since this is the support part I can ask a few questions:
1: Will this installer work on a TSOP box??
I have Avalunch/Evox/unleashx/ms dash, installed already on my box, I did not do the MOD myself, that why Im askin:
2: I have a bunch of games(60+) music(mp3's), game saves, video(movies) on my 200 Gig HDD already, how do I keep it all with out loosing it? or will i just have to suck it up, and start over?
3: What do I have to watch out for, if I can, install this with my TSOP box???
4: Any Suggestions on what to install, what not to install, on my TSOP BOX??

Hm, I've heard of hotswapping done before, but unfortunately I'm not the person to be asking about it. Sjohn is our Softmod expert who is currently looking into this I think, so maybe it's best to post in the softmodding forums to persue this a bit further.

Like I said earlier I'm don't know much about it, but I'm thinking there's more that needs to be done rather than just turning on the xbox and swapping the drives. The Softmodding forums should help you out a bit more hopefully...
Anyways, thanks for your support. I'm sorry that I can't really help you more myself with this, but I'm only just starting to learn about softmodding myself.

You should be able to, I'm guessing you're TSOP has been flashed with a hacked bios if you're already running Avalaunch etc.

No you can keep all of the stuff. You don't nessecarily have to format your drive with this installer, it's just one of the options available.

As far as I can think of you don't have to watch out for anything. You could even go as far as wiping your whole HDD if you wished.

Since I've never owned a TSOP flashed box before I couldn't say, but if all your apps run fine at the moment I'd say there shouldn't be any problems with any of the software on the Auto-Installer.

Well DJB thanks for the help, personally I like softmodding better than hardmodding because it is alot easier, I would apprecate it if you would ask your friend if I am able to do that and how I would do it (exactly) cause this is like a new way to mod an Xbox and uprgrade to a bigger HDD NO COMPUTER NEEDED at all.

See that you can go anywhere without a computer and mod somones Xbox with just three stuff and if you can do what I was saying with the HDD well than thats all you need.
