ive downloaded dvd2xbox and have it on my pc and i was wondering if someone could help me. Can or how do i burn or copy a dvd to my xbox hdd

Need a Little more info, are you trying to put Games on your HDD or movies?
Is your xbox modded and do you have a bigger HDD?

i have dvd2xbox downloaded on my pc
i have flash fxp
another ? when i hook up my xbox to my pc and when i go to where my games are they show up as pxloader23 or something like that. how do i get it so it shows the actual game name

Okay, lets tackle one question at a time.
Your games show up as "pxloader23" because thats how the software chooses to name them, it just copies the game into a folder, "pxloader23" in this case. Once you copy the game to your hard drive you can go and change the name of the folder so that it matches the name of each game. Your loader will name the games 0 to 45, or however many games you can fit on there.
Now you said you had dvd2xbox on your computer. Get it into your apps section on the xbox, either via ftp or cd-rw. If you have the newest version of dvd2xbox it will rename the folders it copies the games to match the game. The neweset version will also automactically patch your games as well. It did Burnout 2 and enter the matrix for me. heres the kicker, you need to keep you other loader on the xbox, because dvd2one will not copy all games, I've had to use my HDD Loader on about 6 or 7 games to make them work.

I have tried several different copying programs and the best results I have gotten were from pxHDDloader. It does suck that they show up with a cryptic folder name, but I just go and change the name when I'm done.

thats what my original question was. i wanted to know how to put a dvd movie onto my xbox then put it on my comp. and burn it
so does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this??

It should be a simple copy and then ftp the files to your computer.

DVD2xbox does both movies and games. It will automatically patch the games that it copies, but for some reason, it freezes up on some games, so I use pxhddloader for those ones.
But yeah get the dvd2xbox on your xbox copy the movie over, ftp it to your computer and then youre ready to burn.
Or get a copy of DVD decrypter, DVD2one, and Nero6 and do it all on your comp. Both ways work and take about the same amount of time.

what version of EVOX are you running baumer24?
You may need to add a line in your evox.ini file on your XBOX C:\ DRIVE..
