I dont know Austrailia all to well, but we do have a bunch of members from Austrailia, myself, I'm from the states. If you just post a message I'm sure some of the guys can point you in a direction of finding the right people.
By "fix" his box do you mean mod it or is it really broken?
We have a lot of tutorials and downloads that are open to anyone and pretty easy to use and follow.
I just recently Modded my xbox myself with no prior knowledge about it.

I didnt know if it was ok to say it but yah I need a modder. i know its pretty simple but as its a gift and he is edgy about it, I was hoping to find someone to do it.

Try PM ing forahobby or ecwperth theyre both from austrialia, they should be able to point you in the direction of someone who could get it modded for him. Good luck getting it all together.
Does your friend already have his mod chip? If he doesnt and you cant find anyone to mod it, I recomend going with the solderless chameleon. Very easy to do, only took about 25 minutes from start to finish. So thats just another option. And mine is still working great. _________________ XBOX v1.0:

Hi Spot,
Welcome to xbox-hq mate..
Well i live in Newcastle, NSW mate so if he can get his xbox to me i can do it.. But i normally charge around $200 AU to install the mod/dashboard and a few other cool things which i cant mention here..
$200 AU for
1 x ApplexV (able to turn on and off via power switch ready for xlive)
1 x install and config of your evox dash and backup of all gamesaves etc
1 x Install Upgraded HD if you send it with your xbox *you must supply
and finally i will install lots of utitiles and other stuff (like i said i cant mention)..
let me know.. I think the main problem will be insurance..
anyway, Something funny.. I have 5 xbox's sitting on my desk.. heehe

btw.. If you know the guy tell him he needs a new website..
I had a look and nothing but errors.. He wont sell much from it when customers cant see what he has to offer..

The site is crap, i dont know them...i used them for a couple of parts some time ago.
I used the phone to contact them, i didnt get a reply from them using Email. They said they were moving at the time and were very busy.
Getting parts is hard in Aus ( or hard to find a place selling Xbox parts).
