...I was able to find a work-around. Using a brand new Seagate 80Gb drive, I was not able to get the installer to run. It kept on erroring out with an error code 21. However, I used the old installer and it worked fine. In order to be able to use the new installer, I setup the drive with the old version and rebooted with the new version. When I did that, it worked perfectly fine. I'm going to try it again tonight on my 2nd xbox with a 200Gb drive...

I also had this problem getting a Seagate 160GB drive to work on a version 1.0 Xbox running a DuoX v2 mod.

That's funny, coz I've set up virgin hard drives with it before.
Are you sure there's nothing that your missing?
With a new HDD,UnleashX (which is the code used in the main part of the AI) is supposed to even automatically detect a new HDD and format it. And even if it doesn't (which is unlikely) there are options to format in the menu.
What I do with a HDD is actually unlock it before installing anything, straight after format. Even though it's not locked I still do it.

Has any other installers worked properly with it? Did DuoX come pre-flashed with it's own BIOS or did you flash it? It's just that some pre-flahed BIOSes might only take up to 120gb HDDs.
Anyways, thanks for bringing these to my attention.

Okay, update time!
I tried to use it on a brand new, virgin Seagate 200Gb drive. Same problem. However, was able to use the new installer if I prepared the drive with the old one. Maybe it doesn't like Seagate drives? _________________ Xbox v1.0 with
