I'm going to have to rethink this. I have Evox running (comfort level I guess) but when things get quiet again in my life I will give that another whirl.

i start using evox at first but now i use avalauch is pretty good it has auto update the save game feature and also FAN SPEED is on the avalaunchi.xml the file browser is good althou i use more xcommander and xbmc filemanager the telnet and irc features rocks also i got the usb cable and i got a keyboard attach to it ive seen unleash x before but i dont see any great feature that wanna make me switch over yet
but in conclusion any dash either avalaunch of unleash x is way better than evox

i have evox unleashx and avalaunch installed and use them all for the features i trust them with
ava: default dash
-main reason is the filemanager "switch to remote" auto-connects to other ava boxes on the network and transfers files box-to-box at 11,000kps (i have 3 on my lan this is important)
-download gamesaves direct from the gamelist
-stable as hell
unleashx:
-filemanager does zip/rar
-has the only acceptable text editor for the xbox, handles xml and ini formats
-only decent filemanager with "select all" option
-excellent skins with videos
evox:
-only app i trust to format a drive properly (dont trust another dash or os)
-only dash i trust to lock/unlock a drive
-trainers _________________ .

Good cover on features aweidguy... I had no Idea that Avalaunch had that transfer feature, Im gonna have to give it a spin!
Also UX has a nifty gamesaves downloader too.
And I couldnt agree with you more, I LOVE UX's Filemanager and text editor. I love being able to edit the menustructure right on the xbox without having to bootup my PC. All I got to do is slap my usb keyboard right in and Im ready to fly! _________________ -Scourge "Rx = +/_\"

Why have you not tried ava? you can run many dashboards all at once with a little mod to the config.xml

so then all you need to do when you`ve add a dashboards tab is to make a folder with your dashboards in it making sure to rename the .xbe that launches each dash to default.xbe.
then from now on you can try out any dash you like. I even keep a version of unleash in there with diffrent settings for when i want to ftp
There isn`t any real competion between unleashx and avalaunch in my opinion, XBMC vs UnleashX more like.

Agreed UX and Ava are allot alike
I have ont the bottom of my UX menu links to Evox and avalaunch.
XBMC is near the top near the entrance to may games menu... I feel like considering XBMC as just "a dash" is an insult to one of the coolest apps out there for the Xbox. but as far as game launchers go, UX is hellava showboat, something that is a big showoff to your friends. _________________ -Scourge "Rx = +/_\"

haha, speaking of a big showoff to friends: I brought my box to school one day, amd hooked it up to a big projector, and with my UX skin and music playing everyone was like "whoooooa!"
I've never really used Evox as a dash, just used it to backup files...and I only use Avalaunch when I am feeling too lazy to enter an IP in UX and just FTP with Ava.... _________________ Softmodded Xbox V1.6
