If you've ever played it before, be sure to clear your cache first then use the most recent version of DVD2Xbox and you should be ok. I had a transfer issue like that with Halo 2. Confused me (not hard to do). Cleared the cache and did the DVD2Xbox again, no issues, plays like a big dog.

If you say so.
Current version: 0.6.7
05-31-2005: Released dvd2xbox 0.6.7
Slayers (which suks) is old period. What's your version of DVD2Xbox?

September 1st 2004 - Latest version Slayers Evox 2.6 released!
Today is June 22 2005.

So at this point after asking what you might do, you can either do as I point out, or not. It's up to you.

You don't get to 1000+ posts with suggestions that could be used as toilet paper. He knows what he is talking about. Use Slayers as a coaster. I would still, and did use AID 1.01 instead.. It is old. Even still, it isn't AID 2.01. The .67 is nice b/c it fixes issues with lcd screens.

No need to say sorry dude but here's why I try to start with the most recent application.
Since your release that you have in your hand, here's what's been fixed or augmented.

v0.6.7
+ fixed a bug in the fatx renaming function which could crash dvd2xbox with certain long file names
+ speed up directory browsing for directories in the file browser (especially for ISO9660 CDs)
+ buildin ftp server checks now for fatx conform filenames and renames it if needed
+ reduce memory consumption by decreasing the background image size to a power of 2 (512x256)
+ completly rebuild the settings system. added some more settings for the LCDs
+ added a option to disable LCD scrolling
+ some disc copy optimizations
+ fixed a bug where dvd2xbox stated zero bytes vob as "failed"

Known issues:
- cddb request not working. Stick on a older version if you need it.

v0.6.6
+ fixed the virtual keyboard texture issue
+ added extra cursor scrolling for the virtual keyboard. Press the triggers for character based scrolling and the left
thumbstick for fast scrolling.

Sorry for the bunch of bugfixes but less time less tests. Report all bugs to X-S or the dvd2xbox forums.

v0.6.5
+ hopefully fixed the X3 backlight being to dark.

Thanks to SniperKilla and morpheus26441 for reporting the bug and testing. Unfortunately one reports it works the other that
it doesn't. Please test and form your own opinion.

v0.6.4
+ added support for X3 LCD
+ LCD: fixed '\' being 'ö' and some other character issues on X3 and SmartXX
+ LCD: fixed text flickering
+ LCD: redesigned some output
+ added a simple screensaver (not configurable yet, active after 2min, use dpad or buttons to deactivate it)
+ main menu now browseable
+ added bitmap display for each item on the main menu ( background and item icons are simple bitmaps which can be easily
replaced, redesign not final yet, more to come)

Note: Installing this release will set all dvd2xbox settings to its defaults.
Thanks to www.rokey.net for his smooth metal icon set.

v0.6.3
+ fixed a bug with game not shown in the gamemanager if the titlename is emtpy.
+ fixed a bug which shows "path already exists" when choosing the destination dir and the current game title has no titlename.
+ fixed a bug which shows a blank text box when renaming directories which contain a default.xbe with no titlename.
+ fixed: enabled back button in xbe info screen.
+ added: change led color to reflect ripping status (orange ripping, red error, green done/idle). You can enable/disable it via
the settings menu (default is off).
+ removed the entry «patch media check 1/2» from filemanager as ACL processing provides the same function.
+ added xbmc's filezilla ftp server. enable / disable it via the settings menu (default is off).
+ added configure option for naming ripped cdda tracks (see dvd2xbox.xml for more).

Note: Installing this release will set all dvd2xbox settings to its defaults.

v0.6.2
+ added a hdd auto detection for f: and g:. Set autodetectHDD in the XML File to 0 to disable it.
+ updated to the current libcdio of xbmc.
+ changed the samba config to have it similar to XBMC.
+ fixed copy mode for plain udf discs.
+ fixed a bug in the full ISO/VCD/SVCD -> SMB copy routine.
+ changed the rename function to use the relative path rather than the absolut path.
+ file manager: added support for samba share.
+ file manager: create directory, copy file/dir, delete file/dir and rename file/dir are now fully
working with FTP/UDF/SMB
+ beta: added a simple game manager where all your games are listed. There you can start the games,
delete it, delete only the savegame or delete all. Configure the pathes where to search for games
in the dvd2xbox.xml. Add there additional directories between the gamedir tag.
Remember the gamemanager is still beta. Report all bugs related to it and the rest of the aaplication
on xbox-scene.com or via the sourceforge project page.
+ added some startup info texts.

v0.6.1
+ fixed the copy retry function and added support for ISO9660 and Video DVD.
+ added log texts for CDDA ripping.

Not all planned changes found their way in 0.6.0 but anyway, enjoy the new release and as usual report all bugs
to me at forums.xbox-scene.com or the sourceforge project page.

v0.6.0
+ started to rewrite the underlaying file reader/writer classes (udf,dvd,iso9660,ftp)
+ ISO: fixed a memory leak in the ISO9660 copy module
+ DVD: fixed the long key crack time when copying .vob files
+ DVD: added cache for storing title keys
+ DVD: removed title crack method per default and let libdvdcss decide
+ FTP client: fixed a few bugs
+ Added the newest samba library from xbmc
+ replaced simplexml by tinyxml
+ added a lot of comments to dvd2xbox.xml
+ added a xbe information page to the main menu (press black to obtain informations about the inserted game)
and to the disc browser (use the action menu to obtain informations about any xbe on hdd)
+ added a new ACL function called SR (set game region). The syntax is similar to SM (set media). See dexbe
for allowed region settings. Default is all regions for all xbe's (SR|*.xbe|00000007|)
+ fixed ACL processing for multiple selection in disc browser (SF1042562)
+ fixed logfile writing when calling ACL processing manually
+ finally added the missing drives (c,x,y,z)
+ all ACL files from dvd2xbox.xbox-scene.com

Now if I had to take all that in to consideration to troubleshoot the issue, it's would require paid tech support. Laughing

So you cleared everything off the hard drive... udata, tdata, removed the first attempt to drop it to hard drive and then it still freezes? DVD2Xbox shows 100% completion?
Clean disk?
Can you give us an idea as to the specifics of your mod?
