I have the same dvd drive I use nero ultra to burn image,as slow as possible, Memorex DVD-RW 1X-2X it works every time

I use mostly DVD-R media with that drive. CompUSA brand, SpinX brand, TDK brand, and SONY brand have all worked fine for me. I have had probs with a lot of DVD+R's on that drive though.

good luck in finding your media zen... Office Max just had a sale on 50 packs of the SpinX DVD+-R's for 14.99 per 50 pack. I bought a bunch hoping they would work, and so far no issues whatsoever.

I've had very ggod luck w. ritek G04 media. try www.supermediastore.com. good prices and huge selection
