okay, I have a friend with a scph-35001 gran turismo version playstation2 and without asking what version ps2 he had I got the magic3.6 with the regular clip. First, I dont know if this version has the gap or no gap,so i don't know which clip i would need to get. Second, I am pretty good at soldering and I was wondering if any one knows if you need the clip or if you can just solder in accordance to the magic3.1 instructions,I've heard they are the same chip? please help

If you have SCPH 3501 THIS IS version4 and to mack shore of it
If there is an electrical hazard warning on the bottom of the
Case then it is a V4. Smile
