Hi people,
Wonder if anyone can help. I have a Version 1 xbox with a xecutor 2.3b and a 80gb hard drive, all works fine. My problem is with my bro's v1.1 with xecutor 2.6 that i installed a couple of weeks ago. It just refuses to boot a few games that work fine on my xbox. Been searching the net to find a solution. I have installed the same bios as mine, he is using the same dash setting and everthing but for some reason a couple of games refuse to work.
Any help would be gratefully recieved.

Its hard to say what the problem is, I have seen this so many times. I would try ripping the game to the HD with the latest version of DVD2xbox, if that doesn't work, look for a patch for the game. _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

Game is patched already and been ripped to hd before. Work off the disc and off hard drive in my xbox but not my brothers.

Hi peeps,
Bit of an update for you all, seem to have found where my problems lie with my bro's box. It was buggun me so i pulled both mine and his xbox's apart and started to swap things about. First thing i tried was changing dvd-rom drives, i have a thomson and his is a samsung. And guess what all discs worked straight away. Strange considering that the genral consent is that the samsung drive should be better at reading diferent media. But when i plugged my thomson in all games that didn't work, did.
Just thought i would let people in on this relivation and see if anyone else has had this occur before.

Maybe the connections to the DVD were just a bit loose?

I did check the connections, and it still refuses to run the games but have now put them to his harddrive with my thomson drive.
