Hello, I have an original Xbox with the Adamx Colecovision emulator on it. Could anyone please tell me how to get the games to start playing, please ? I have tried everything, but to no avail. Cheers for any help.

Thanks for replying. The list of games is there, then when I select one I get the screen that says, COLECOVISION TURN GAME OFF BEFORE INSERTING CARTRIDGE OR EXPANSION MODULE, and cannot get any further than that. Cheers.

I've absolutely no idea. How would I check ? All I know is it's the ADAMx COLECOVISION emulator on an Original Xbox. I bought it already done, with Coinops on, etc. They all have .7z at the end of their title, if that is of any use.

That means they're 7Zip files rather than vanilla Zip or RAR ones.
Seems odd, I've not seen any emulator ROMS supplied in 7Zip format as ready for use but I suppose its possible.
Copy one of the 7Zip games files to a temporary folder and see what's inside. If there is a Zipped sub-folder and that contains the game files I'd begin to suspect they may have been packed that way to reduce space and may have needed to be extracted first.
AFAIK the Xbox can't run software which can open 7Zip files but I may be wrong so do not quote me.
I'm wondering if you're using a ROM set meant for use on a PC Colevision Adam emulator rather than ones set up for use with the Xbox version of the emulator.

Thanks for replying again. After reading what you've written, I think you may be right. I don't know a massive amount about computers, but I know a little bit, and I don't think it would be possible to open a zipped file on my Xbox, and if you don't know, I've had it ! It must've been put on the hard drive by mistake. It goes through the motions, though, it says 'STATE ONE LOADED' but then that's it. Also, on the main menu it clearly states that it is the Adamx Colecovision for Xbox, so..... Weird. Cheers.
