Hi,
If anyone is interested in setting up a PRIVATE FTP server to help us with our auto installer hosting etc. We are looking for any xbox-hq members who can help us out here.. Its very simple to configure on your home pc if you already have a HIGH SPEED CONNECTION and a computer which is always on 24x7..
Anyway, if anyones reading this and can help please contact me via pm..

Ill send you a FTP SERVER app for windows that you can install..
Then all you have to do is open a FTP Account and give us the details so we can help upload some stuff or others download from you..
anyway, We are looking for someone who is right into xbox and wanting to help the Site with some bandwidth..
I'm also online all the time, and have a pretty fast cable modem... anything I can do I will to help the site out.

Shoot me a pm with your email address.. I will send you a 2mb file to install on your pc.. Then just configure it with a username and password and give it a directory..
thats it.. You can then post links to our vips on your pc..

Whatever you could spare mate would be cool.
We have plenty of space on our server still but are looking to have some mirrors around the place.
You could setup 2 x accounts on your server and then our vip members will start uploading and downloading.. They only upload xbox stuff so im sure you will like it..

Hey forahobby, I am still game. I just had to look into a few things prior to allowing people to connect to my machine. My business partner who is much more server savvy than I is helping me out tomorrow when he comes for the Pittsburgh Steeler game!

Also, I don't mind hosting some files for you over at modgod..up to you though...I can even maybe do both.

I Already have a FTP server up and running on my job's server. but I can't add automatically users. I have a web server, too, in a HighSpeed DSL Connection. I can share with you some of my 20GB disk space with you.
