Hi all!
I just bought an old XBox for Modding. Since IŽm pretty new to this I need some advise from the pros:
Well, to be exactly: I want to run several Emulators on my XBox.
To have enough Disc-Space IŽll install at least a 500GB HDD
IŽll put in a Mod Chip, because there is no way for me to softmod it. (I dont have a Memory Card and a modded XBox for copying the Savegame)
But:
Which Mod-Chip can you recommend?
Would the X-Changer V2.5 be adequate for my purpose?
Am I right that I can use any HDD with the X-Changer installed (even HDDs which does not support locking)?
thanks for your help!
Edit:
Its a v1.0 XBox

Hi mate,
Really any modchip will do. I just hope you can still find one to buy.
If you do manage to get a modchip installed and the firmware flashed you can easily just put in Auto Installer Deluxe and mod your xbox with new dashboards, emulators or whatever. - http://www.aid.xbox-hq.com
Just remember that even once you install your modchip, you will still need to flash it with a hacked firmware.
