Hello, i bought a softmod kit from ebay, when i got my xbox softmodded, can i place ISO on my USB, and play it from the USB on the xbox?

I don't think so, but you can play games off of the HDD. The USB drive may not be default recognised by the Xbox and therefore won't be compatible across the system. _________________

you can only install games to the xbox hard drive. The USB is only used as a memory card to copy over the softmod exploit.

Yes it can be done. Is it worth it? No its not. Why? First you need to rerwrite the cache and pagefile allocations. Second you need to install UX.40 which is nowhere near being finished, or stable. Third you need to manualy edit the cached BIOS so it thinks the N (or whatever letter the external is) is actualy D drive.
So what you need to do to save yourself alot of headaches, especialy since Im not around much anymore to guide you through the editing process is to just upgrade your internal HDD and be done with it.
