Hi All,
i'm from Indonesia, i have 2 xbox v1.6, but till year i try to play that xbox after i put in storage after 6 year haha .. very nostalgic actually. i go blog walking and i found this website. very impresive has a lot of tutorial and fixing xbox. in my country is very rare now to found any sparepart and any service center to fix classic xbox.
glad have a forum like this has all source for classic xbox

I use XBMC almost every day as a media player and dashboard. If you have something like unleash or evox as dashboard, you don't know what you are missing.

@Prehistoricman: currently using UnleashX for now. seem i wanna try to update my xbox using xbmc or AID (kinda same rite?)
i will update the progress i wanna try using xbmc dashboard can wait to be true

To download XBMC, go to the XBMC4Xbox forums and click on the button at the top of the screen that says latest nightly build.
DO NOT get the 3.0.1 STABLE release because there was a major bug in that. That's my first advice to any XBMC user. Don't get the stable, use a nightly. The 3.0.1 STABLE is in AID. I'd use it to update temporarily but as something to carry on with, it is bad.
All XBMC4Xbox builds are stable, however bugs are spotted now and again and they are normally a user error. When they aren't, the XBMC devs (exobuzz and arnova) fix it in a few days.
AID is used to get loads of apps and dashboards and BIOSs and I found it very useful but not in disc form Normally, you would burn it to a disc and lauch AID, but I unpacked the xISO and extracted XBMC which I then FTPed to my Xbox. I also loved the BIOSs that came with it because I use a modchip and my previous BIOS wasn't that good.

if you want to use Auto Installer Deluxe (AID) to install XBMC that will be much easier.. Just download aid here: aid.xbox-hq.com or aidtracker.com

ahahah after few busy week i came back again.....
@prehistoric: i have download all xbmc and aid but i got busy by the time... i thing i will find some spare time to do installation based on your advice

cant wait to fine some spare time to do my hobby hehe... thanks for you guys advice
