I'd like to know a few things
Where is the link for a proper tutorial on this?
Is it possible to wire in a SATA power, I have a sata to usb drive but the power cord broke on me.

why would you try to wire one in when you can buy a molex IDE-SATA power adapter for around $2. Theres lots of tuts on wiring in USB check through the tuts section. And never use a USB powered HDD with an XBOX the ports are not designed to deliver a constant supply of power for an external HDD
