Can I plug a product like this into a USB port onto my computer and use it to connect to my Xbox Via Ethernet?

Nope. First issue is its USB 2.0, second the XBOX already has ethernet and third is drivers. As far as I know the only options for internet are A) The built in port B) The MS Wireless Adapter C) Spliting your internet connection from a PC which still uses the built in port or D) Wiring in a Netgear Wireless Card.

What about this?

I have a Ethernet port in the back my my cable box I've been using on my computer and if I plug that into my cable box then shouldn't that connect pretty easy? I just think $10 isn't that good of deal.

The easiest way would be to just get a router. That way you can have multiple devices hooked up to the internet at once.

Actually, the USB adapter WOULD work since you said you want to use it on your PC and then bridge the 2 connections to share your PC internet with your XBOX. This IS possible. Honestly, darth is right, go ahead and get a router if your going to buy anything and that would be best!!!

Correct. While your method will work, the router really is the best method to go and will work great for future use (not only in this one situation).

The problem with that being is though I live in a small area and I dont like to have tons of cords going every where even though there already is, with that usb device I could stick it in my pc then just bridge a connection from my pc to my xbox easily I'll probably just buy a ethernet splitter since my cable box has a ethernet port on it

Actualy bridging involves turning 2 hi-speed internet connections into one. You will need to share the connection and you will also need a crossover cable. This would probably serve you better. You can use IE FTP with just a regular ethernet cable but if you plan on using 3rd party software like Filezilla then it must be a crossover

Or this works nice
