Okay so I have already been through a couple tutorials and am still having issues. I have it in xiso format I've tried Alcohol 120%. I want to try Nero 6 rom but I cannot find a copy of it every one I find is Smartstart. Any help even a trial link would be helpful.

Yes I am using DVD-R as for the games I got them from a friend who has burned them to disc before and they have worked he said he just burned them like any regular iso using Alcohol 120%. If someone could provide a link to get Nero 6 rom I would really like it.

Why not just use imgburn? Its free, fast download and works great.

I'll try it again. The last time I tried imgburn it said the file was not supported and or unknown.
Just tried it and got the same error. Unknown address to write.

Well most games I've ran across are 800MB-4GBish in size it should fit on a DVD-r just fine. I'll try to let you see a visual of what a Get.
Some games come in parts. So You unzip those parts from the winrar archive, then go into the the first winrar and you should see part1 or something in a .iso you'd drag that to your desktop and you sohuld see Gametitle.iso
I've never heard of .xiso
If you see Gametitle.iso open ImgBurn Click on Write Image file to disc then you'd click the little folder and search for Gametitle.iso
Once you have Gametitle.iso selected make sure Writespeed is at 4x and it's always safe to click on Verify.
If you got Bllank DVDs to waste I'd try it out on a smaller game file and see if it doesn't work.

xiso is supposedly the iso file type used by the xbox. I am using Qwix to make a new iso for the game and try and burn it. Although no matter what game I tried imgburn always gives the same error.

If I was a betting man Id say Quix is the problem. I use CXBOX Tools or Craxtion4 for making and patching all my XISO and Imgburn to burn to disc and never have had Imgburn refuse. Im making a video now and will have it up shortly

Note some drives and games requires you to burn the game at 2x speed _________________

Try burning at a lower speed. _________________

First check if the dvds you are burning are brand that xbox can read.
If yes, then you may need to clean the lens of your xbox, I did it more than once, use alcohol. _________________
