hello!
I have a Xbox, its been modify by putting a mod chip to read backup games in a store/repair/store of old console here in the Philippines , and they flash the bios also, then i dont know the mod chip name but wheel trun on the Xbox i see a logo of EVO X.
It been OK if i soft mod it by using the method Ndure procedure, ????????
I have no idea it is work or not

If possible open up your XBOX, remove the hard drive and tray and try and get a pic of the mod chip and post it here. Once we know what chip it is we can advise you better

I open and take the modify warranty carefully so they now notice that i remove the warranty sticker they will never notice that i remove the sticker, i love taking challenged to take the warranty sticker hehehehehh

If its been flashed and its working just pop in AID and do a modchip install to get things like unleashx and such. Its pointless to softmod a chipped box unless you plan on taking the chip out. Keep an eye out for Wes213 or User1 and button hole em, theyre the pros when it comes to chips and can guide you right through exactly what you need to do. My experience is very limited when it comes to chips other than popping in AID and doing the ! click for mod chips

Hey you forgot to mention my name lol. Yes, he is right, go to THIS SITE and download AID.
Once you have downloaded AID you will need to either customize the distro with the ISO updater that comes with it or just burn the original ISO as an image. When burning ISO images for the xbox always burn at the slowest speed possible!!! (Also, try to get DVD-R and not DVD+R if at all possible)
Once burnt, put the disc in your xbox, turn it off and back on and then you should be greeted with the Auto Installer menu. (Some times it may take a minute or 2 to load the Auto Installer)
Once you get to the main menu, choose the option to install a dashboard on a system with a modchip and NOT a softmod. Granted you can softmod a chipped XBOX, but there is no point in doing so at all.
i will use the Auto-Installer Deluxe installer to soft mod it, there is no other requirement or just only the Auto-Installer Deluxe DVD?

If it has a chip theres no need to softmod unless youre taking the chip out. Burn aid to disc put it in the xbox and reboot. It should boot aid pick dashbords modchip and select your dash, you can do the same for apps. Softmodding may even cause problems for you since your box is all ready modded to some degree and could end up with multiple xbes putting it in a loop. Also NK loads a temp bios to memory and youve already got a hacked bios, you would need to revert to stock bios to be sure of avoiding any conflicts.

Ok, imma clear this up.....
MODCHIP = HARDMOD (no softmod needed or personally even wanted)
SID = SOFTMOD (Software hacks required such as games, game saves, etc.)
So as you see here, modding with SID (Softmod Installer Deluxe) would be a softmod, which is good BUT, if you have a chip in already, you do NOT want to go this route as the chip does what a softmod would with hardware that is soldered into the LPC port on the motherboard of the XBOX with a pin header and a D0 wire (D0 - stock BIOS interruption)......do not softmod, just install a dashboard with AID and your done....nothing further after this except backing up games or using the xbox of course, but no further modding required. _________________ Hotswap Tutorial|FTP Tutorial|HyperX Flashing Tutorial

my mod chip is only work for backup game. so i want to put the game in the hard disk, so that i play more or watch movie in hard disk....

The modchip does more than that. All you have to do is install a program called DVD2XBOX and it will rip games from disk to the HDD for you, you do NOT need to softmod!

When i turn on the Xbox its appear the logo EVO X logo on the left side of the screen and the Xbox logo turn into color orange then it just its boot Original Dashboard of Xbox.. if there is no DVD inside..

Thats comon. The modchip opens the door for you, the exact same as a softmod. A softmod is NOT all the programs you see in my videos it is NOT a dashboard. All it is a hacked bios thats loaded into memory when you first boot the Box. Programs like SID and Ndure were designed to include a dash and sometimes apps because (at least with Ndure) many people could not get a handle on doing it the old UXE/UDE way and needed an all in one installer.
A mod chip is just like the softmod just a hacked BIOS that allows the running of homebrew, but just like a UXE softmod you still need to install a dashboard (Evox, Unleashx, XBMC) install apps (DVDx, Enigmah, XBMC etc)
Thats why there are programs like Slayers, AID, UBD4 etc because once the modchip is in it will read a burned disc and you use one to install all the apps and dash. Its just like a PC, you install Windows, it has whats needed to run the PC but if you want a decent media player you have to install it, you want a program to compress files you have to install it

thx for all, i finally soft mod my Xbox, i use AID 4.30 & i upgrade to GB hard disk on my Xbox... sweet... now copy my original game to the hdd..weeeeeeee...
hey how can i transfer my games using PC. because some time the Xbox cannot copy the Games cause file error to copy, the CD having many scratch, i don't wanna burn it into another DVD-R,
