If it says no FATX drive found then chances are thats your PC drive youre looking in. Did a second drive show up as Dev something in device manager?
If this is the case what I want you to do is unplug your XBOX, unhook the hard drive (power and IDE) lift the tray out (will be one screw between HDD and DVD holding it in) Remove the HDD from the tray and plaug the power back in and the IDE loosely, you want it to be connected but ready to be pulled off quick. Unplug the yellow power cable and IDE cable from the DVD drive. Get your PC right beside the XBOX, (make sure the xbox drive is either set to cable select or slave) turn on the XBOX, the second the error screen comes up pull the IDE from the HDD, plug the PCs IDE cable into it (leave the power from the xbox alone) and boot up your PC. This should unlock the drive and allow 360 to detect it. When youre done unplug the IDE and plug the Xbox one back in then turn off the xbox then pc

Are you positive its the xbox drive? do you see things like XTF and XBE files?
If it is then just copy off everything to a folder on your PC, it may take a while though. Then go through everything, its possible you missed it or that theres a text file with it that can be used with dos locking tools
As for the hotswap the pc and xbox have to be side by side since the HDD has to be powered by the xbox and hooked up to the PCs IDE cable, what this does is spoof the xbox so the drive stays unlocked and when you plug the ide back in from the xbox and power off locks the drive

i copyed and looking through the files again...
so there are some .xbe files... xboxdash.xbe but no eeprom... maybe some leftovers from the installing / formating / prepareing the HDD with the AID...
when i go to propierties from windows i can set the HDD up to use it in the PC... it shows it as "not assigned"
so... the next step is to hotswap?
or would it be an opinion that i get splinter cell from my buddy? when it would help.. i would get in the car and get the dvd..
read some of the tutorials from xboxHQ.. am i maybe lucky that my HDD is not locked? since i can copy and paste stuff with xplorer360 and i can set it up with my windows to use it with my pc?

Windows cant use it until its been formated either fat32 or ntfs it cant recognize fatx. Since the drive isnt locked no need to hotswap. Next step is to build xboxhdm disc using the c files I sent you, unhook your PC's hard drive, hook up the xbox drive, make sure its set to master, put the disc in the pcs dvd drive and boot. You can pretty much follow my HDD build video and just skip the part about locking the drive. If it still boots an error screen then that means either the chip or something on the mobo is fried. If the rebuild works and you dont get an error screen first thing I want you to do is put in AID go to the restore backup menu and make an eeprom and ms backup and ftp them off to your PC that way if the chip does die you can just softmod it.

The rename is BS, (thats only if your using files from a modded xbox, you need to rename ybox to xbox) those files are exact copy of MSdash with no renames. I ran into a similar issue using Phillips CDs and Memorex DVDs. I switched to using Fuji (RITEK) DVD-r and havent had that issue since. I would have thought the SATA drive was causing the issue but if the diusc boots then its obviously registering the drive. When you put the MSdash in the c drive folder was it just one folder or did you open it and copy in all the folders inside?
When you went into the xbox with xpolorer did you see a file like this ?(notepad file)
HDDINFO.TXT
Disk Serial Number : "5JRGCEJQ "
Disk Model Number : "ST310014A "
HDD Key : 9b:ff:d9:0f:34:fc:fe:e8
ea:ae:99:f5:23:30:0d:25
72:8b:0c:20:00:00:00:00
00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00
i think the PLATINIUM dvd-r are RITEK too... (img burn said that)
i copyed the folders inside the MSdash folder to C.. (wasnt so much folders and files like in your video (think because my files were the basics)..
maybe should i upload some screenshots?
you mean when i plug the HDD to my PC and use Xplorer360 to browse the files?
i think i didnt saw such a file but i will look trough again...
edit: just saw your screenshots... it looks like that... but i dont have the eeprom file...

The eeprom isnt a must. If it turns out that chip is toast then eeprom will be a big factor. If this turns out to be the case I'll walk you through a DPNdure hotswap softmod.
Unleashx is probably the most customizable dash out there. Tons of exploits, installer discs and apps use modified unleashx dash boards. Its super simple to add or remove menu items, run dual channel audio/video skins, even make specific apps or emus a permanent part of the dash. Pretty much all my videos are done on xboxs running unleashx. Its only downfall is its crappy ftp, not so much an issue if you use a third party program like Craxtion but if you do IE FTP like me an Avalaunch Live disc is a must or it will constantly refuse you access.

hi! hi sppv,
sorry i hadnt been around for a couple of days and then i were not that motivated to get the xbox straight..
hope your still here...
so i tried different things...
burned the ISO on a diferent cd
used other HDDs
but it didnt changed the Error that it cant find the linux cd..
then i looked in the readme of the xboxhdm tool...
i found this:
NB ! This distro uses the following notation :
Primary Master : /dev/hda
Primary Slave : /dev/hdb
Secondary Master : /dev/hdc
Secondary Slave : /dev/hdd
maybe i NEED a IDE dvddrive?
edit: read some post on the internet.. in one they say i should put empty UDATA and TDATA folders in the E folder.. but i dont think that will get me around my problem or?

That could be an issue since by default XBOXHDM looks for IDE drives. Ive never tried using a SATA DVD drive, and I know unless you use an adapter an hook it up to IDE it wont recognize a SATA HDD.
Are you using the I7 tower? I got error messages similar to that with my old Netvista tower but I always equated it to being a CD issue since my new one (Zotac AMD) works fine with DVD. But Im wondering if theres something in Intel BIOS that just doesnt agree with XBOXHDM.
