Post subject: Original XBOX FTP Problems

Hello, I am running an Original XBOX system which has Avalaunch DASH running on it. I would like some help FTPing from PC to the XBOX but I am having some issues. It says on some forums you must change the IP address in the settings area, to 192.168.0.1 or something. But when I try to do that and change it, I cannot seem to find a button on the controller which will accept the change also I tried hitting both triggers and the A button and it gives me a message stating EEPROM writing disabled. I found elsewhere where I could make EEPROM writing enabled but when I try again to change IP address it states EEPROM writing disabled due to Harddrive lock or something. I am confused on how I can do this. My PC was able to see a connection at first when I connected my crossover cable and it did give me some kind of IP like 24.237.32.1 but I mesed around with some options to try and change my IP on my XBOX to the requested 192.168.0.1 and it never accepts the change. I messed around some more and accidently clicked (Auto Setup Xbox 2 Xbox) setting and now my Static IP is 10.0.10.134 and when I connect my crossover cable from PC to XBOX it gives me that IP with Err at the end and I cannot go back to how it was and now my PC doesnt accept any connection now. I am Using a Crossover cable method as I do not like using routers and such. Any help would be appreciated. Question

I found it best to install XBMC as an APP and launch it to FTP to, XBMC is just a better dash all around.
