Have a Xecuter 2.6 lite but when trying to flash the bios it is not reading the cds. Also, which is the best bios to use on this chip?

Do you mean your xbox isn't reading the disk?? Are you using correct media that your xbox will recognize? I assume you are flashing the modchip after it's installed from the xbox game tray?
I would use an Xecuter2 4983 bios. Depending on how many partitions you want, and what size HD you are using you may want to choose either .06 or .67 versions of that bios.
Are you using Nero Burning rom to make the bios cd? Are you including a 50 to 100mb dummy file?
Here's a little info on flashing the X2.2 which I am sure is similar
