hello..,
i tried to backup c: drive using aid but i guess it also cannot find the c:/ as it just hangs on the backing up screen.....
is there any other way to find the c: drive or this has no c drive at all?

I think its safe to say it has no c drive or shadow c. I think youre best bet is to rebuild the drive so its set up proper.
I think the screen you want to change is just a skin and should be able to be changed in settings or by by going to E Dashboard Skins and replacing the skin with another one. Or if it doesnt have one opening the XML and where it says skins add a path like E:/ Skins, put some skins in the folder and switch to the one you want. That apears to be a MenuX dash so you would need menuX skins, or replace it with a better dash like UnleashX or XBMC

hi again...!
this is weird...
on its original chip an aladdin xt flashed with an unknown bios it wont read the cd drive and alsocannot ftp thru dhcp but it goes directly to the skin or dashboard..
i put an amd duolx2 dual bios and i tried flashing the bios with all the bioses 265 in ai and slayers some would see the c:partition like the yoshi debug bios but cannot see the other drives as it displays zero space but in c drive it displays some free space ,, but in fxtp it displays nothing when i tried opening c:drive ,, but if i try to put hexen disk the opposite happens it cannot display c but displays all the other drives...
ohh well i guess this would be a combination of bios and skin dashboard....
this drive c is particularly elusive...

thanks again for the reply but the above suggestion i cannot do because i noticed that the medias, mp3, mtv, videos, films, and other movies were all embedded inside games titlefor example the movies are all in marvel vs capcom media file...
so if i do the above surely the xbox would miss all the paths to all the media,, so im guessingthat my best bet is to find the dashboard and edit erase all the background names...
hope you an idea where i can locate it...

Youre damned if you do and damned if you dont. Leave it and youre stuck with a messed up dash/mod, change it and youre looking at a long process of redoing all the media so its set up right, or starting from scratch and copying new media on.
They way things are setup on your xbox it almost makes me wonder if the modder did it all messed up on purpose to try and force you to come back to them for all repairs. Normaly the way a modded xbox is setup its all straightforward and a monkey could change the skin, or fix minor problems.

well i am now convinced that this has no drive c at all and i found the dashboard embedded inside a file and the skins are all in wmv format,, sort of like the past unleash x type of background skin.. like the popular animatrix skin then..
now the only problem is i do not know how could the drive e: hold such a space i tried doin it in xboxpartitioner but it could only do drive f and g: ..
