You'll want to PM a guy named DJB to figure that out. He is the one that makes AID.

Not sure on the latest one but most of the music is composed by C64 musicians like myself and DJB used to be.. Smile I think ROBOCOP was on the last release of AID but not sure on the latest.

The track used for AID 4 is an extended mix from one of the level songs from the C64 game "The Last Ninja". This mix was done by Instant Remedy.

DJB & I both used to write music for the commodore 64 about 15 or so years ago when we were very very young.. We were regulars in the c64/amiga scene Worldwide and were also known as pearl (our music co-op name). That's why when we produce our homebrew stuff we release things like they did in the old days.. hehe Smile

We also coded demos, and cracks for games like trainers with unlimtied lives, and cheats etc..

Here are some links to games and music we have produced or been apart of making. You can even listen to the shitty music we used to had to produce for games. This was due to the limits of the c64 SID chip..

By the end we were getting pretty good but then i went to Amiga and PC.

I have also written tonnes of flashgames and ported originals to the web in flash.. You can check them out here: http://flashgames.xbox-hq.com or install the 360-HQ toolbar which has my games built in (http://toolbar.360-hq.com).

hope that gives you more of an idea of the guys we are here on HQ and how long we have been hanging together..

Give me a couple of days and i'll put up some of my work after the hobbs days. Smile

I've got a few here as MP3, but I wanna go through my collection and find a few spanning nearly the whole time (1993-2001). Should be a good listen. Smile

OK here they are, I could only end up attaching 10 of them.

Where it says "Arranged in xxxx" it means that this is a cover of another song, and not an original composition of my own.

Im pretty sure we SOLD our first game complete with our own music when we were 14-15 to a german magazine which then published the game on its cover.. It was so cool for us back then, especially when australia was falling behind the world when it came to computers..

We were still running c64's instead of pc's with MIDI..
