Hey fellas, two questions real quick. If you tsop a box, its just like chipping it right? I mean it doesn't lock the drive anymore right? Also about the size, you have to flash a different bios to use over 137 gig right?

Yes a TSOP will make it like a chip. As for the HDD size, you just have to make sure that the bios is new enough to support the larger hard drives. The bios you would want to use for TSOP would be the X2 5035 bios, which has support for the larger hard drive sizes. _________________

Well for some reason I'm having a hard time. I'm running a box with no dvd drive and it works fine, but whenever I pull the stock hard drive and swap another one in I get christmas lights.
Any error code ?
Have you got a Dash installed on the new drive ? _________________

Doesn't even get to the point where it throws a code. No dash yet on the drive, can't get to that point. I wonder if the flash didn't work right.
