i have a ? about this and i have tried to put a diffrent harddrive into a xbox and run it and it comes up an eror code is there any way to fix that
also i have tried diffrent cd drives is that even fixable

You can change out the DVDROM drives no problem but when it comes to a XBOX 1 hdd they are all LOCKED.. So you will need to first unlock the drive then relock it to the xbox you want to use it with.
The easiest way to change hdd's is to have a modchip fitted. Modchip's don't care about hdd locks etc..

thanx alot i have herd you can get a mod chip for like 15 or 20 dollars is that true the only thing is i need a solderless one i dont think i can solder that well but if you can find one for that price i will be so thankful
