Hi there,
I'm getting a chipped Xbox tomorrow (I have no clue which kind of chip it is). So... what should I do? I will download AID. I want to replace the HDD to a bigger one... Do I have to make a backup of the EEPROM to get the new HDD to work? Or will it be enough if i just plug in the new HDD and use the AID to quick install any dashboard?
Could I harm the Modchip with the quick install if I don't know exactly which modchip i'll be using?

With a chip you just need to put in the new HDD and pop in aid, from there just select one click chipped install and the dash you want.
That should be all you need to do.

I forgot to say - I will never play in Xbox live. I will maybe use XMBC for watching youtube videos, but I won't need Xbox Live for that, won't I?

All good man, you only need xboxlive for gaming online.

Yeh, sounds like you will be fine.. As long as your xbox 1 is modchipped you can just burn AIDeluxe to a DVD-R/CDRW and it will auto detect any new hdd and format it.
I would get a backup of your eeprom and everything once you have updated your hdd just to be safe..
