So I have an xbox around here that is a V1.1, so I want to TSOP it with the X2 5035 bios. I was looking at user1's tut here:http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-277.html and understand what I need to solder. It says that it needs a 1 mb bios file for the TSOP.
I already have a 1mb X2 5035 bios on my computer from my previous hyperX chip that I have in my 1.6 box. How do I go about using AID to flash the bios with this image file? I know that you can add bios packs to the flasher, but I'm pretty sure the X2 5035 bios image included with the AID flasher is a 512 kb file. _________________

No man there is a 1MB ver. of it in the add on pack.
Darth, everything you need is in the AID download. Use the AID iso updater to include the bioses to your AID disc - when you select this it boots into EvolutionX to do the flashing.
or
Get the Bios addon . rar file from your AID addons folder, extract the contents to a folder, rename flash.xbe to default.xbe then use Qwix to create an iso out of that folder then burn it to a DVD-R ........ you now have a little standalone EvolutionX flash disc. (If you login to Wheelies VIP server i uploaded a couple of the Bios flash .isos there) _________________

Thanks a lot guys.
Do you recommend the solder bridge way or the wire way when bridging the points together? _________________
I wouldnt bother with wires, those solder points are pretty close together - For me, those v 1.0 & 1.1 seem easier to bridge than the 1.2 +
If solderings not your thing, theres some stuff about that repairs the element on heated rear wind screens, like a conductive paint type thing, you can use that .............. or if you want to be proper ghetto use a 2B pencil to `join the dots`, lol.

Totally agree,, Ive done a few TSOP's but no where near as many as i have done modchips and softmods. I personally normally always install wires and a switch so i can upgrade my bios at anytime (not that you need to really).

So I lost my old memory card that had my SID on it. I can't find my action replay usb transfer cable so I'm trying to get the new SID 5.10 save onto my memory card with my modded xbox.
I ftped the two zip files to my memory card and it didn't even show up in the MS dash of my 1.1 xbox. It said the space was taken up, but it wouldn't actually show any saves. So then I unzipped the files and then ftped them to the memory card again. This time they showed up in the dashboard but said that the save games were corrupted.
What am I doing wrong here? _________________

Did you get any further ? ....... Are you trying to transfer the UDATA folder ? - Transfer the one inside it, the one with numbers for its name. _________________
