I'm thinking about upgrading my hard drive and i just wanted to know which one is good.I just want one that has like 40 or 80gigs.

If its a lockable HDD and its been formated then yeah man the stock xbox HDD is just a small PC HDD. Wink

Sweet, cause i've got this old computer that i accidently wiped clean so it has no operating system.We're never gonna use it again and i thought i could just pop out the harddrive and use it.First i have to find the computer.

I can answer that question wes. lol my mom has a trailerwith a small shed and five missing comps going all the way back to win 3.1 days, she thinks they are in the shed but, she being a pack rat she has enough stuff in there to fill 3 or 4 small sheds. Still unsure how how she did it. Lol

If your console is chipped, there is no need to lock the harddrive unless you intend on going to MS live.
I never lock my drives, but I don't do softmods or go live.

you should be able to pick a drive up on your local kijiji or craiglist for cheap, like $10. Just make sure you zero wipe the drive to make a fresh.

I found an 83.2Gb harddrive on craiglist for $30 but i can't afford it.I have only $20.I'm going to try and scrape together the last $10.

I don't lock my drives either just incase..lol No need as i don't use Xbox LIVE on my xbox 1 anymore..

Softmods ofcourse you have to lock the HDD all the time anyway.
