Hi, can someone either type up a step by step guide or send a link to ware i can find one? wanna try upgrading my xbox's hdd agen n last time i tried i used chimp n it was a pain in the behind.
i have a 1.6 ver xbox.

not working, it says the drive in frozen. if formatted everything fine but it wont lock the drive. dose this mean the drive wont work?

the xbox unlocks and locks the drive. that's the whole hotswap part. it can be tricky. watch the light on the xbox and count until the led starts blinking. you'll want to unplug the ide cable as soon as the led turns red...don't give it time to blink. once you do that then xboxhdm will do its work. once it is finished your hdd will be back to retail form. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

Oh, one more thing, don't forget about the hdd jumper. Master when you are building the hdd and cable select when it is hooked up to the xbox. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS
